Oct 11,  · I've always thought that The Who's "Lifehouse" (or "Who's Next" for that matter), should have been a double album (and I imagine, a few here agree), but it seems that they and/or producer Glyn John stopped the recording process at a point when material for filling about three vinyl sides was in the can, and they ultimately kicked out a lot of great songs to ultimately release the single LP.
